MailBug Email Device
The MailBug email device has a backlit display screen so it’s easy to read and compose new email messages. It comes with full-sized keys, which make it easy to type, yet it's still small enough to fit on your kitchen counter or on a coffee table.
Get a MailBug for yourself. Or buy it for a loved one so they can keep in touch. Sending email is as simple as typing a message and pressing the send button. Incoming email is retrieved automatically, so you don't have to worry about how to check for new email.
Landel Support will configure your MailBug email account before shipping it to you so all you have to do when it arrives is plug it in and start typing.
MailBug Email Address
First, you will need to choose an email address. Your email address will be formatted as "email@example.com." Please tell us your preferred email address in the form below when placing your order, along with an alternate email address in case your preferred address is not available. (If you prefer an alternate domain, you can also use "firstname.lastname@example.org." If you are interested in group purchases, and need a custom domain for your church group, your retirement community, your small business, etc, please contact email@example.com.)
MailBug Email Service
Subscribing to MailBug Email Service is required to make your MailBug work. Your MailBug email device is similar to a cell phone, where the MailBug Email Service is like the provider that allows your cell phone to dial and receive calls.
Using MailBug Email Service allows you to send and receive an unlimited number of email messages. The people with whom you exchange messages do not have to use MailBugs themselves. They can use computers, mobile devices, or any other email systems. As long as they have valid email addresses, you can use your MailBug to exchange email with them.
MailBug Email Service is very inexpensive at just $12.95 per month.
Service is billed on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis and it will continue to renew until you cancel it. If you choose to pay for your service annually, you'll save over $5. Please select which MailBug Email Service option you would like in the form below.
Local and Toll-Free Access
In order to send and receive email, your MailBug uses the plain old standard phone line you already have in your home to automatically dial a local number and connect to the Internet. Your MailBug will connect frequently, but it will not interfere with your use of the phone. If you are using your phone, MailBug will not connect until you are finished. We have designed it to share the phone you already have, so you do not need a new phone line or any special equipment.
Landel maintains over 20,000 numbers across the country, and we will use the telephone number provided in your shipping address to find one near you that can be dialed as a local call. Chances are very good that we have a local number available near where you live.
If there is no local number available, Landel MailBug Support can provide access to a toll-free number at no extra charge, to ensure that you can use MailBug no matter where you live in the US or Canada.
